Why I’m building KampTrail
I’m Chuck Price, a lifelong camper and the creator of Boondock or Bust. Cindy and I travel in a 2018 Hymer Aktiv Class B after years with a Class C Gulfstream.
I’m building KampTrail to bring campsite information, public-land context, and trip planning together. Start with a place you know and tell me what would make it more useful for your trips.

KampTrail brings together source-linked campsite listings and planning tools. It keeps unknown fees and missing evidence visible. Listings are not field verified, and a public-land boundary does not establish camping permission.
The public beta is free to use without an account. Saved stops stay on your device. You can back them up with GPX and use the existing Boondock or Bust resources for costs, power, water and maintenance planning.
Your experience can make it more useful
Use KampTrail to try a familiar place, check the information and save a stop. Feedback is available when you need it. A suggestion helps us prioritize. It is not a promise to build a feature.
