Safety Disclaimer
Effective November 2, 2026 · Version 2026-11-02
KampTrail is a planning aid, not a safety guarantee. Adirondack Mfg Corp does not certify legal access, campsite availability, road suitability, safe vehicle clearance or the absence of hazards.
Check before you go
- Confirm current access, fees, reservations, permits, closures, fire restrictions and stay limits with the land manager or operator. A map boundary or listing is not permission to enter, park overnight or camp.
- Follow current signs, road restrictions and official directions. Listings and community reports may be incomplete or outdated.
- Know your vehicle’s actual travel height, width, length and weight. A missing restriction, suggested route or clearance comparison does not establish safe passage. Check the road, bridge, grade, surface, turning space and posted restrictions independently.
- Weather, wildfire, flood and other conditions can change rapidly. Consult current official alerts and make a backup plan.
- Stop in a safe place before interacting with the app. Do not use it while driving.
Offline does not mean complete or current
Installing KampTrail does not download maps. Save the required Topo areas and stops while connected, check the saved-data inventory, and test a restart without service before travel. Unsaved areas, missing tiles and older listing data may be unavailable or wrong. New routes, current weather and sending feedback require a connection. Your browser can remove local storage; a phone can lose power or fail. Carry independent navigation and emergency supplies.
Not an emergency service
KampTrail does not monitor your trip, track your safe arrival, dispatch help or guarantee communications or rescue. Leave a trip plan with someone you trust and use appropriate local emergency channels when needed.
Understand the limits
Decide whether conditions, your equipment and your experience are suitable for the trip. Do not proceed merely because a location or route appears in KampTrail. This notice explains the service’s limitations; it does not remove any rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. See the Terms of Use.
