Who provides KampTrail

KampTrail is owned and operated by Adirondack Mfg Corp (“KampTrail,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These terms govern the service provided to you by Adirondack Mfg Corp.

A planning aid

KampTrail helps you explore campsite information, public-land information, routes and saved stops. It does not operate the listed campsites, grant access or camping permission, issue permits, inspect roads or guarantee that a location or route is safe or suitable for your vehicle. Read the Safety Disclaimer before relying on the information.

Your use and acknowledgement

Use KampTrail lawfully, respect landowners and posted restrictions, and independently verify information relevant to your trip. Do not use interactive features while driving. When you select the acknowledgement checkbox and Continue, you agree to these Terms of Use and acknowledge the Safety Disclaimer. Our installation flow and offline-map downloads require that acknowledgement. A browser may offer installation separately.

Acceptance is recorded on your device for this terms version. Clearing site data, changing devices or a material terms update can require a new acknowledgement. The Privacy Policy explains this storage; acknowledging the safety notice does not subscribe you to marketing or authorize optional location access.

Information and availability

Source records, user contributions, maps and calculated results may be incomplete, inaccurate or outdated. Conditions can change without notice. The service is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted access, complete coverage, accuracy or fitness for a particular trip. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Adirondack Mfg Corp disclaims implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies or liabilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

Contributions and third-party services

Submit only content you have the right to share. Do not include private information about other people, passwords, abusive material or misleading reports. Public reviews, photos and corrections may be moderated and displayed as described in the Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your contributions. By submitting content for publication, you give Adirondack Mfg Corp a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, reproduce, resize or reformat, and display it for operating KampTrail. You must have the rights needed to grant that permission. This does not give us ownership of your content or authorize publication of private feedback. Removal requests and retained records are described in the Privacy Policy. Private bug reports and feature suggestions are handled privately.

External services, linked websites and source data have their own terms and licenses. Keep applicable attribution when using exported or shared information. Inclusion of a listing or link is not an endorsement or a reservation.

Protect the service and other visitors

Do not disrupt the service, bypass access controls or rate limits, upload malicious code, impersonate others, or collect private submission-management codes or personal information. Automated requests must not overload KampTrail or its providers. We may restrict abusive access and remove misleading, unlawful or harmful contributions.

Built-in offline-map downloads and GPX exports remain permitted. Separate open-source and data licenses continue to govern their respective material; these terms do not withdraw rights granted by those licenses. Source attribution and third-party map-service restrictions still apply.

Changes and contact

We may update the service and these terms. Material changes to the acknowledgement terms will receive a new version and require renewed acknowledgement in the protected flows. Contact Adirondack Mfg Corp about KampTrail through the KampTrail contact form or chuck@boondockorbust.com.
